Calypso
Enchantress of the sea

I wanted to explore the use of photo reference with this piece to achieve a more realistic look.  I remember being extremely inspired by the color red at the time, especially since it was around Christmas time.  Alot of my older work from many years ago was done in a more realistic style, and a part of me wanted to see if I could still accomplish it.  I was happy with the results of the experiment ^_____^.  I named her Calypso after the ocean goddess in mythology.
