This is a concept art of a character of mine, Teska Featherstone.  My goals in this piece were to achieve more dramatic contrast and more loose, painterly brush strokes in Photoshop.  I tried to stay away from the airbrush-y, "computer-colored" look.  XD And it's so tempting to go over the whole thing with hyper smooth shading, but I had to refrain LOL.  All in all, I'm happy with the results =D, though I think this is just a small step in the right direction to where I really want my art to be.
