I sketched this character on Bristol. I wanted to try a different angle for her and a unique design. Her face markings remind me of a foreign world. Elves are one of my favorite mythological characters to design.
Sorceress of the Sea
This is a mermaid I sketched on Bristol. I was inspired by vintage art. It was fun to block in light and shadow and also to leave some parts of the sketch as just outlines for a mysterious feeling. This is one of many mermaids with fin hair that I have designed over the years. Maybe I will make more like this one in the future!
